In order to meet the specific requirements of Audi used car sales, a new comprehensive concept has been developed for the german car manufacturer. The flat display area is based on the simple principle of an unaligned grid. This structure serves as both a two- and three-dimensional basis for all elements. This modular structure makes it possible to react flexibly to different situations and local conditions.
The design of a high-quality square is the basic idea behind the Audi used car architecture. The combination of flat, vertical and spatial elements creates a rhythmical, structured space, based on the principle of a city piazza. This square makes high-quality vehicle presentation possible, while standing out from the usual, flat, car-park-like form of used car architecture.
The project has been realized for Allmann Sattler Wappner Architekten. The pictures shown are courtesy of AUDI AG.
